Candidates are eligible for the K-League 1 player's Korean nationality, under the age of 23 (born after 2001) and three years or less (debut after the 2022 season) from the year in which he made his first appearance in an official K-League game. Players who meet the above three conditions and participate in more than half of the total playing time of his team in the relevant month are considered candidates. Among them, the final winner will be determined through discussions and voting by members of the Technical Research Group (TSG) under the Federation's Technical Committee. The Young Player of the Year award in April targeted a total of five matches from the 15th to the 9th rounds of the K-League 1 held in April. Including Yang Min-hyuk (Gangwon), five players including Min Kyung-hyun, Park Seung-ho, Choi Woo-jin (Incheon United), and Park Se-jin (Daegu FC) were nominated.

Yang Min-hyuk was selected as the best 11 in the eighth round of the K League 1 and was the only one among the five candidates to be named as the best 11 in the round during the period. He also garnered the most votes from TSG members as he showed a steady performance in Gangwon Province, including one assist in all five games held in April. 토토사이트 추천

Yang Min-hyuk, born in 2006, debuted in the K-League as a semi-professional player this season, scoring attack points in just 35 seconds to announce the birth of a "monstrous rookie" and has been performing well as starting all of his matches so far. With manager Yoon Jung-hwan's deep trust, he has broken all the team's youngest records, including appearances, scoring points, and offensive points, drawing attention as a rising rookie in Gangwon Province.

Yang Min-hyuk, the "Seven Select Young Player of the Month" in April, will receive a trophy and prize money ahead of the Gangwon Daejeon match at Songam Sports Town in Chuncheon on the 11th.

The naming title sponsor "Seven Select" for this month's Young Player of the Month award is the exclusive brand of 7-Eleven, a convenience store brand run by Korea Seven. Seven Select plans to release K-League collaboration PB products that include K-League panini stickers this month.
