DFM, a familiar name to fans in Korea, won the LJL Spring 2023 title with a 3:0 victory over Sengoku Gaming. This is DFM's 15th trophy in the LJL and their fifth consecutive title since Spring 2020. DFM also heads to MSI with this Spring title.

First place in the 2023 LJL Regular Season was Sengoku Gaming with a 13-1 record. DFM was second with 12 wins and 2 losses, but at the end of the day, it was DFM who was the best in the LJL. DFM filled the void left by the team's iconic 'Evi' this season with 'Toll2'. 'Toll2' is a rookie top laner who started his career at AXIZ Academy in 2021.

After finishing second in the Spring regular season and advancing directly to the second round, DFM swept SoftBank Hawk Gaming 3:0 to reach the finals, where they swept Sengoku Gaming 3:0 in the final. After an easy win in game one, with Lee "Aria" Autumn's Taliya starting to get things going early on, DFM took advantage of the early and mid game engagements in game two and quickly snowballed, destroying the Sengoku Gaming nexus in 24 minutes.

The final three sets were all Sengoku Gaming's to play for. While there was no global gold difference, a one-sided three-stack Dragon build gave them a late-game advantage. However, after losing the Baron engagement, they were down to a single dragon, allowing DFM to take down their opponents in one fell swoop and take the win.

DFM qualified for the MSI after winning the LJL Spring, but it's doubtful that they'll be able to improve on their recent international performances. The void of 'Evi' is huge, and 'Tol2' has been playing mostly tank this season with Gragas, Malphite, Scion and Xanthe, with the rest of the team carrying, 토토사이트 so it will be important to see how they fare against a team with a better weight class than DFM.
