Galaxy Gaming, which develops and distributes casino table games and improved systems, announced the addition of gaming industry veteran Gavin Isaacs to its board of directors. The appointment is subject to customary gaming regulatory approval.
"Gavin brings a rare wide range of technologies to Galaxy gaming boards, including his leadership role, public company background, international influence, and deep industrial experience. Our shareholders will benefit greatly from his contribution to the board's efforts in setting the company's strategic direction. We're excited to get started," said Mark Lipparelli, Galaxy's board chairman.
"I believe that Galaxy Gaming is in a very unique place with tremendous opportunities ahead of it. I'm thrilled to be joining the board. I'm hopeful that my experience with gaming, especially my time in the table gaming business and my experience with M&A, will help take the Galaxy to the next level," Isaacs said.
Regarding the appointment of Todd Kravens Isaacs, CEO of Galaxy, he said, "I've known Gavin for years, and we've always wanted to find a way to work together. As we grow into new markets and new product lines, Gavin's counseling will be invaluable."
Gavin Isaacs started his career as a lawyer in Australia. He has held leadership positions within the gaming industry, including chairman of Arabistat Technologies, chief operating officer of Bally Technologies, CEO of SHFL Entertainment, and chairman and CEO of Scientific Games. Gavin is also a non-executive chairman of SBTech.
