Kim Min-jae doesn't seem to have any intention of leaving Bayern Munich.

Although Inter Milan is deciding whether to leave Kim Min-jae alone, it plans to continue the competition quietly without giving in to other situations.

Italian media "La Gazeta delo Sport" reported on the 11th (Korea Standard Time) that Inter Milan has listed other center backs besides Kim Min-jae on the candidate list.

The media outlet stated, "Inter Milan decided to recruit a defender in the summer. The frontrunners were Kim Min-jae and Mario Hermoso, but Omar Soler appeared. Soler, who was born in 2000, is out of contract in 2025. It only costs 10 million euros (W14.5 billion) for the younger and cheaper Sole, signaling that he has emerged as a strong competitor to Kim.

Ermoso is a defender who plays for Atletico Madrid in Spain. He was born in 1995 and is one year older than Kim Min-jae. On the other hand, Sole is young and has the advantage of being able to raise Inter Milan for a long time with less money.

Earlier on the 24th of last month, the media posted an article titled "It was 50 million euros in July, but I stayed on the bench in March," and said, "I am thinking about whether to offer a lease to Kim Min-jae, who is losing ground in Munich." "Kim Min-jae, who went to Munich with a transfer fee of 50 million euros (71.5 billion won) from Napoli last summer, is likely to be a target of Inter Milan in the next transfer market, and it seems that rental options are being discussed rather than offering a transfer right away."

The media also announced, "Considering that goalkeeper Jan Sommer and defender Benjamin Pavar have been playing well since arriving from Inter Milan last summer, Kim Min-jae, who also plays for Munich, can be a good defensive reinforcement option."

Italy's Blasting News also reported on the 22nd of last month, "Munich defender Kim Min-jae is likely to be loaned. Inter Milan will loan former Napoli defender Kim Min-jae. Chris Smalling and Constantinos Mavropanos are also keeping an eye on him."

The outlet continued, "The management of Inter Milan's sports division is planning a new contract to strengthen their defense next season. The name that will emerge from the transfer market will be former Napoli defender Kim Min-jae. Inter Milan expects Kim to return to Italy on loan this summer. We have looked into the possibility."

Inter Milan want a centre-back because Francesco Acerbi and Stefan Defrai, who are currently central defenders in the back three strategy, are already in their 30s and are out of contract in the summer of 2025.

In particular, Acerbi has recently been at the center of controversy over allegations of racism against Napoli defender João Jesus. His whereabouts in Inter Milan are uncertain. Although he was acquitted and rumors of a two-year contract renewal are gaining momentum, he is not easy to play as a starting member due to his age and mid-30s.
