The 'Rulers' traveled to China from the top of the LCK and dominated the LPL in one split.

Jingdong Gaming defeated Biribiri Gaming 3:1 in the Spring Finals of the 2023 LoL Pro League (LPL) on Friday to claim the title. Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk, who played the role of Jinx, proved to be a world-class player by becoming the LPL Royal Loader and winning the Finals MVP.

Jingdong Gaming's momentum was clear from game one. Jae-hyuk "Ruler" Park's jinx was on fire and they took the POG. After getting two kills on his first dragon kill, Ruler showed the epitome of a one-damage carry by staying alive and dealing damage with each kill. Biribiri Gaming was unable to create much of a scene in the Herald of the Gorge battle, aside from a death sentence from 'On'.

Set two ensued. After dropping the first set, Biribiri Gaming brought out their signature pick, Kindred-Galio. It was an exchange, but it started off well, with Kindred on 'Sheen' picking up a kill and the bot duo jinxing 'Ruler'. However, a mid-game kill turned the tide. 'Knight's' Arie grew rapidly, and his rush combinations gained momentum. Jingdong Gaming then went on to win back-to-back games in the Hanta, ending the game in 22 minutes and 51 seconds.

Biribiri Gaming also made a push. In game three, unlike the previous set, they managed to create a game-leading flow. Bai on 'Sheen' played aggressively with Arie on 'Yagao' to drive the early game, while Gwen on 'Bean' was active on the side and hanta as the game moved into the mid game. Jingdong Gaming's hope was a three-stack dragon, but their momentum was dashed when they lost the next dragon battle. This allowed Biribiri Gaming to take a set.

However, that was it. In the fourth set, 'Knight' Arie began to make his presence felt right from the start. He was involved in four kills in just 11 minutes, tipping the balance. 'Ons Nautilus managed to get a few kills with his sharp grabs, but it wasn't enough to stop Jingdong Gaming's run, led by Arie. Around the 30-minute mark, Jingdong Gaming drove a wedge with Baron after Dragon Soul, 고스톱 and the game ended without further incident.
