Lee Jeong-hoo, second double of the season

Jeong-hoo Lee (25, San Francisco Giants) hit his second double in his career in the Major League Baseball (MLB).

Lee Jeong-hoo played as the number one hitter and center fielder in the visiting game against the Tampa Bay Rays held at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida on the 14th (Korean time) and recorded 1 hit and 1 run in 5 at-bats.

A refreshing hit came out in the 5th inning.

In the top of the 5th inning, with San Francisco leading 2-1, with 2 outs and no runners, and the ball count being 1, Jeong-hoo Lee hit a 143 km/h slider on the second pitch from Tampa Bay right-handed starting pitcher Ryan Pepiot and hit a double to the left of right field.

The batted ball flew quickly at 171 km/h.

Jeong-hoo Lee continued his streak of hitting in five consecutive games with his second double in MLB.

The next batter, Lamonte Wade Jr., hit a two-run arch to right-center, and Lee Jeong-hoo scored his 6th point of the season.

However, multiple hits (more than 2 hits in one game) were not achieved.

Lee Jeong-hoo's first at-bat in the first inning was limited to a ground ball to shortstop, and in the third inning, he lost his bat to Pepiot's 155 km/h fast ball and struck out. This is Lee Jeong-hoo’s 6th strikeout.

According to Statcast, Lee Jeong-hoo had only swung and missed five times before today, and in his third at-bat, he swung and missed at Pepiot's second pitch slider and fourth pitch fastball.

Lee Jeong-hoo, who looked disappointed in his two at-bats, made up for it by hitting a strong ball and hitting a double in his third at-bat in the 5th inning.

I was unlucky in the 6th inning.

With one out and 2nd and 3rd bases, Lee Jung-hoo caught Chris Devensky's 148 km/h fastball and hit a fast ball of 165 km/h, but it was caught by Tampa Bay shortstop Jose Caballero, who was guarding near second base. Caballero completed a double play while tagging second base runner Patrick Bailey, who could not return to base.

Lee Jeong-hoo hit a ground ball to first base in his last at-bat in the 8th inning.

Lee Jeong-hoo's season batting average fell slightly from 0.250 to 0.246 (14 hits in 57 at-bats).

On this day, San Francisco hit five home runs and defeated Tampa Bay 11-2. 고스톱사이트
