By the end of this year, the Philippine market will be enriched with another gaming facility. The new Grand Westside Hotel will be located on the boundary of the Westside City of Manila's famous Entertainment City.
Megaworld Hotels & Resorts Luxury Hotels:
The hotel will be built by Megaworld Corp., famous for Megaworld Hotels & Resorts, which is part of Alliance Global Group Inc., a Philippine conglomerate. The company said that the hotel's facilities will begin "before the end of the year" on Monday, July 24.
The hotel will consist of 1,530 rooms and be placed on a 31-hectare (76.6 acre) site in the Philippine capital of Westside City.
The 19-story hotel will have two towers. Customers will be able to enjoy the amenities of the first tower within a few months, and the second tower will open by next year, as the company announced in a press release.
In addition to hotel rooms, the building has two storeys of retail space and commercial space placed on a floor area of 1.995 sq m or 21.474 sq ft.
On the fifth floor, you can enjoy open spaces such as a swimming pool with a view of Manila's own, a children's swimming pool, a gazebo, a seating area, and a beautiful Zen Garden.
Inside, there will be four functional rooms as well as a gym and massage room. There will be four restaurants for the perfect experience. There will be something special for VIP customers: a fantastic executive lounge.
MegaWorld Hotels & Resorts already owns one hotel in Kingsford Hotel Manila, a famous Westside City township. The company's first hotel in the area opened in 2021 and now consists of 529 rooms.
However, the company's second hotel complex is expected to be the largest in the country. Cleofe Alviso, executive director of MegaWorld Hotels & Resorts, said, "Once opened, the Grand Westside Hotel will be the largest hotel property in our portfolio and by far in the entire country. It will be a short distance from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) via the NIA Expressway (NAIAX), and promises to entertain guests with a stunning view of the world-famous Manila Bay sunset and the skyline of Makati, Manila, and Taguig cities."
New Casino Hotel Complex:
The new building will also feature a casino hotel complex. Suntrust Resort Holdings Inc., a subsidiary of LET's, is the company behind the complex, which is headquartered in the Philippines. The complex will consist of 460 hotel rooms, which will all receive five stars and cost about $1 billion to build overall. However, the main character of the complex will be a game venue where guests from "large markets and VIP markets."
