The women's national soccer team, led by coach Colin Bell, is going on a trip to Europe.

The Korea Football Association announced on the 14th that the women's national soccer team will play two friendly matches in Portugal this month.

The women's national team will play the first match against the Czech Republic in Lisbon on the 24th local time, and the second match against the Portugal women's national team in Estoril on the 27th.

The Czech Republic is currently ranked 28th in the FIFA women's rankings, and Portugal is 21st. It is evaluated to have similar power to Korea, which ranks 20th.

Since this match is held during the women's A match period determined by FIFA, even overseas players can participate. Overseas players such as Ji So-yeon (Seattle Reign), Choi Yu-ri (Birmingham), Lee Young-ju (Madrid CFF), and Casey Fair (Angel City) will join.

Cho So-hyun (Birmingham), who was not called up to the national team in the second half of last year due to injury and team transfer, also returned.

The players will be convened at Incheon Airport on the 18th and leave the country.

The Korea Football Association explained, “The women’s national team does not have any major competitions this year, but is in the process of making new preparations with a long-term perspective toward the 2026 Asian Cup and the 2027 Women’s World Cup.” 19가이드03
