Kim Hyo-joo tied for fourth in the second round of the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour Ford Championship (total prize money of $2.25 million). 안전놀이터

On the second day of the tournament held at Seville Golf and Country Club (par 72, 6,734 yards) in Gilbert, Arizona, the U.S. on Thursday, Kim shot a 5-under 67 with seven birdies and two bogeys in the second round. Kim, who recorded 12-under 132 overall on the day, tied for fourth place with Asaara Munoz of Spain at the halfway point of the tournament. Hannah Green of Australia, who reduced her pars by 11 on the day, took the lead with 14-under 130.

Kim Hyo-joo is two strokes behind the lead, while Sarah Schmelzel of the U.S. and Jen Bei-win of Taiwan, who are tied for second place with 13-under 131, are one stroke behind Green.

Korean players have never won in six competitions since the opening of this season. It is the first time in 10 years that Korean players have failed to win in six competitions since the opening of this season.

Kim Hyo-joo missed the fairway only once in the first and second rounds, and also showed stability on the green, blocking the number of putts with 26 in the first round and 27 in the second round.

World No. 1 Nelly Koda of the U.S. tied for 10th with 10-under 134. Im Jin-hee, Kim Sei-young and Shin Ji-eun also tied for 10th.

Korean American golfer Jennifer Song had a hole-in-one with her Iron 8 at Hole 14 (par 3) at 160 yards. However, she failed to make the cut by a one-par gap as she only tied for 76th with 4-under 140.
