Indonesian Volleyball Association unveiled a 14-member entry for the women's national team reinforcement training.

"The Indonesian women's team, ranked 55th in the world, will play an exhibition game against the Red Sparks of Daejeon in the Korean V-League at the Senayan Arena in Jakarta (16,500 capacity) on April 20," he explained.

The Korean women's professional volleyball team has emerged as a hot topic of interest in Indonesia as Megawati anti-Stri Pertiwi (25) joined Jeonggwanjang. As of March 17, Megawati ranks second in serve per V-League set, fourth in attack success rate, and seventh in score rate.

Heijer Harsono (66), secretary-general of the Indonesian Volleyball Association, said, "I hope all the players who have been called will join Jakarta," adding, "It is a serious composition as much as an official national competition."

Wilda City Nur Padilla (29), the best seven players in the 2023 Asian Volleyball Federation (AVC) Challenge Cup, is the biggest star on the list. When winning the Indonesian professional league in the 2021-22 season, he played with Megawati Hang Estri Pertiwi.

Wilda City Nur Padilla is also an All-Star member of the 2023 Southeast Asian Volleyball Association Women's League. Both her recent skills and international experience deserve to be the centerpiece of the Indonesian team that is facing Jeong Kwan-jang.

2022-23 Indonesian professional league MVP Mediol Stiorbani Yoku (25) 2018-19 Indonesian professional league best seven Agustin Ulandari (33) 2014-15 Indonesian second division MVP Hani Budiarti (28) was also selected as a member of the national team.

Mediol Stiovani Yoku was selected by GS Caltex Seoul KIXX in the women's Asian quarter draft of the V League, but was replaced by another player before the opening of the 2023-24 season.


Jeong Kwan-jang will visit Indonesia at the invitation of the Sports Fund and Management Agency (LPDUK) of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. LPDUK hoped to "promote friendly relations with Korea through sports on the occasion of Megawati Anti-Stri Pertiwi's promotion of national prestige in the V-League."
