Everton fans of the English Premier League (EPL), who were recently disciplined to cut 10 points for violating regulations, flew banners criticizing the EPL secretariat.

According to the BBC and other sources, the Everton fan group posted a banner criticizing the EPL secretariat over the stadium after the Liverpool-Man City match (1-1 draw) at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City's home stadium on the 26th.

The banner was written with a message "Premier League = Corrupt" protesting the club's 10 points deduction.

Everton received a severe penalty of 10 points from the EPL secretariat on the 17th. This was because Everton had violated the Profitability and Sustainability Regulations (PSR) in the Premier League over the past three years.

As a result, Everton, which has four wins, two draws and six losses (14 points), became four points from 14 points and fell to 19th out of 20 teams. It is on the verge of being relegated right away.

Everton strongly protested in a statement, saying, "This action is completely unbalanced and unjust," but the disciplinary action has not changed.

Everton fans flew protest banners at the Etihad Statium because Manchester City is accused of violating FFF as many as 115 times from 2009 to 2018. However, no ruling has been made on the alleged violation of the financial regulations.

Some are concerned that Manchester City, which is suspected of being heavier than Everton, could be relegated to the English League One (third division) beyond the point cut.

"Many people seem to want our team to be punished regardless of the actual truth," Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said. "Man City will eventually be acquitted." 메이저 토토사이트
