On the 24th (Korea time), the WBC Organizing Committee announced Tokyo, Japan, Miami, Florida, and Houston, Texas, and San Juan, Puerto Rico, the U.S., as the six-time WBC hosts.

Twenty countries will participate in the 2026 WBC, which will be divided into four groups for the first round.토토사이트

Group A will compete at Iram Vitorne Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Group B will compete at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas.

Group C matches will be held at Tokyo Dome, and Group D matches will be held at Londipo Park in Miami.

Londipo Park and Tokyo Dome have been held for two consecutive years since last year's competition. Minute Maid Park will be held for the first time. It will be the first time since 2013 that the stadium will hold its first event.

The quarterfinals, where the first and second place in Group A and Group B will clash, will be held at Minute Maid Park, while the other quarterfinals, where the first and second place in Group C and Group D, will be held at Londipo Park, and the championship rounds, including the semifinals and finals, will all take place at Londipo Park.

In the last tournament, Japan beat the United States to win.

The 16 teams that ranked top 4 in each group in the first round of the last competition will automatically advance. The remaining four spots will be determined through the qualifying round in 2025. The organization and schedule of the groups will be determined later.
