In addition to today's announcement by the Ontario provincial government that certain businesses, such as casinos, will be further restricted against indoor gathering restrictions in certain areas, Great Canadian Gaming Corporation will suspend casino operations at Element Casino Mohawk and Element Casino Plambo as of Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Both properties reopened on September 28, 2020.
Great Canadian is committed to providing a safe environment for both guests and team members and introduced important health and safety protocols as part of the reopening of the company's properties in Ontario and New Brunswick on September 28, 2020 and the reopening of the company's properties in Nova Scotia on October 5, 2020.
The Great Canadian will continue to support efforts by local and local government public health authorities and Crown partners to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and will announce details related to the reopening of Elemenz Casino Mohawk and Elemenz Casino Plambo later.
