Mark Brown resigned from Imperial Pacific International (IPI) (HKex 1076), putting the board in need of a new CEO and chairman. In fact, Henry Chang was appointed CEO of IPI, and Teng SioI was appointed chairman.
According to the Saipan Tribune, IPI issued a statement saying that Chang is responsible for managing and supervising all game-related affairs, while Teng is responsible for overseeing and supervising all Saipan affairs, including hotels.
Chang has worked in the casino industry for 12 years, which is related to the opening of several gaming properties in Macau, including MGM Macao, Crown Macao, and Galaxy Macao. In his previous position, Chang worked in several areas, including finance and budget, audit, floor design, training and staff operations management.
Teng has also worked in the industry for more than 12 years. His expertise is human resource management within the game industry with extensive knowledge and experience in the casino resort sector. Teng has held several positions within the Macau gaming industry, including in charge of the site's mass recruitment pre-opening project.
