South Korea's foreign-only casino operator Grand Korea Leisure Co. reported on Wednesday that its second-quarter net loss fell sequentially and year-on-year.

Grand Korea Leisure posted a net loss of 7.99 billion won (US$6.09 million) in the second quarter, down from a net loss of 10.78 billion won in the previous quarter and a net loss of 18.06 billion won a year earlier, the company's financial results submitted to the Korea Exchange showed Wednesday. Casino operators' cumulative net loss in the first half of this year was 18.77 billion won, down 66.2% from their net loss of 55.49 billion won in the first half of 2021. https://www.pachinkosite.info

Grand Korea Leisure recorded an operating loss of 10.71 billion won in the second quarter, down from 13.23 billion won in operating losses in the previous quarter and 25.99 billion won in operating losses in the same period last year. The company posted sales of KRW 48.07 billion in the second quarter, up 2.6% from the previous quarter.

Grand Korea Leisure is a subsidiary of the Korea Tourism Organization that belongs to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The casino operating company operates three foreign-only casinos in Korea under the Seven Luck brand: two in the capital Seoul and one in the southern port city of Busan.
