As all of the respondents are executives in the gambling sector and are being asked about important trends to follow, the majority of survey participants have highlighted regulation as an important factor to develop in 2021.

Interestingly, experts have identified government regulations as factors that have both positive and negative effects on the sector. Thus, countries with well-regulated markets were beneficial for online gambling businesses, while countries with advanced legislation and lack of control over illegal places led to negative feedback.
