SunCity today issued a statement on its Asia Gaming Brief website stating that "SunCity Group was recently mentioned in a media article about its intention to invest in Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam."
"I would like to tell you that SunCity Group has never been to the provinces and has no intention of investing at the moment."
On March 12, Vietnam's NamNet Bridge news site quoted a provincial official about the Sun City Group CEO's controversial visit.
