Two Korean records in one day, 'golden generation of relays' born

Korea's "golden generation of men's swimming" broke the national record twice in one day.

The South Korean men's 800-meter freestyle relay team of Hwang Sun-woo, Kim Woo-min, Yang Jae-hoon and Lee Ho-joon finished sixth in the 800-meter medley relay final at the Fukuoka 2023 World Aquatics Championships at Fukuoka Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall in Fukuoka, Japan, on Monday with a time of 7:04.07. South Korea had a new team at this year's World Championships, with last year's members Hwang Sun-woo, Lee Ho-joon, and Kim Woo-min joined by Yang Jae-hoon as specialty relay runners.
